1. Steven Smith
This right-hander has played some valuable knocks for the franchise during the previous seasons. In fact, his lone century in the shortest format came for Rajasthan against Chennai Super Kings. Smith had scored 472 runs in last year’s IPL edition and was fourth in the orange cap race. He has scored 1703 runs across all seasons at an impressive average of 37.02 with one century and five half centuries. Rajasthan would be more than happy to retain him as not just as player but also as their captain.
2. James Faulkner
James Faulkner can be retained by the Rajasthan Royals as he was part of the team in 2015 before the franchise got suspended. The Australian can be very handy both with the batting and bowling. This all-rounder has taken 59 wickets in the IPL including two 5-wicket hauls which came in the same season. He had an impressive outing in 2013 wherein he picked up 28 wickets in 16 matches.
3. Ajinkya Rahane
Rahane has mainly played as an opener in Royals team over the years. In the format of T-20 he has proved himself to be very adapted and also veryu skillfull. Rahane Has scored 372 runs for Rising Pune Supergiant in last year’s IPL season. Across all seasons, he has scored whopping 3057 runs in 111 matches with 1 century and 25 half centuries. Rahane has also previously been opener for the Indian Team.
4. Stuart Binny
In IPL 2010, he was bought by a Mumbai-based Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians. In IPL 2011, Binny was bought by the Rajasthan Royals. During the IPL 2016 auctions, he was bagged by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a price of 2 crore INR. Binny, afterwards, started to perform well in domestic competitions. He amassed 283 runs in Shimoga, taking his tournament tally to 686 runs at an average of 76.22, making him the third-highest run-scorer in the league stage. He played for The Pune Supergiants last season and in the IPL Binny hit 32 not out of 13 balls against Pune Supergiants India to help Royals get to their target of 179 with a ball and five wickets to spare and thus keep their 100% record in Jaipur intact.
5. Chris Morris

The right arm fast bowler who has taken 35 T20 wickets from 24 innings at an average of 16.68 at an impressive economy rate of 6.57.
